Find Match link not showing
I have two bank accounts which clients pay into, one for GBP payments and the other for EUR payments. This concerns the EUR account. I want to match one payment which I imported via CSV to two invoices which total that amount, however when clicking on this line under the 'For Review' tab, I don't get the option to 'Find Match', in order to match it to the two invoices. All I get is 'Not sure?' Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi chrismahoney
As you have discovered there is no option to find match within foreign currency accounts. You will have to make manual payments against the invoices and exclude the transaction from the banking screen.

Thanks for the workaround, even though a manual process such as this kind of defeats the purpose of having a totally automated process. I would urge the QBO dev team to see to this 'glitch' to facilitate the user experience. Thanks.

I work primarily with GBP accounts using QBO UK. I have the same issue, but with a USD account. I also have a EUR account, but I was able to match payments to invoices with this one.
So did your EUR account start working now? I'm wondering if QBO can also do the same for USD?

Hi jasonjoslin
We appreciate that not having the find match function for foreign accounts may be an inconvenience. If you make manual payments against transactions the auto match function may match the transactions. We have submitted a product enhancement to our engineers for their consideration and encourage you to leave feedback from within the product..

This is (insert many swear words) ridiculous that you cannot match a bill to a payment!
Is there any update here?

QBO foreign currrency support is really lacking.
I'm seriously considering a move to "the other system."

Hi there,
Is this problem solved? I am in Canada and I have a USD credit card account. I could not find the " find a match" button in the transaction extend view.

This is not the service we want you to experience, Vera Shen.
In the meantime, let's access your QuickBooks account using a private browser or an incognito window to isolate the issue. You can use any of these keyboard shortcuts:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
- Control + Option + P (Safari).
If you're able to find a match button, you'd want to consider clearing your regular browser's cache. The stored browsing history in your regular browser can affect the program's performance.
If the issue persist, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. This way, you'll be added to the list of the affected users and will receive updates through your email.
To contact our dedicated support:
- Go to the Help icon.
- Select Contact us.
- Enter Unable to Find Match in the How can we help? field.
- Click Continue.
- Choose Start messaging or Get a callback.
