@joshbrownThank you so much for posting this workaround! I just ran into this issue today when I had to delete and reenter a paid invoice from December, and my sales tax wasn't matching up. I ended up entering it manually and then went on to start my January invoices, with my radar up to possible issues, and lo and behold, the sales tax was incorrect on my new invoice as well. The "See the Math" is about worthless other than to let me know that it wasn't taxing correctly. The QB responses on here are pretty appalling for such a major issue with their program - and it is an issue within the program, not caches, not browsers, etc. I am now concerned as to how long this has been going on, unbeknownst to me. I'll have to get in the habit of doing a new invoice from the main screen rather than the customer's page, but I so appreciate you sharing this information!
