If you're using 2018 or earlier an upgrade will be required. I recommend updating your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release to keep your software up-to-date so you always have the latest features and fixes. Then, you'll have to make sure that you updated the tax table so the form will flow in your account.
Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu and then choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Click the Update Now tab.
- Tap to check the box for Reset Update. This will clear all previous update downloads.
- Select Get Updates to start the download.
- Once the download finishes, restart QuickBooks.
- When prompted, accept the option to install the new release.
