GST
I'm here to help you remove the GST or VAT summary from the invoice, heng.
In QuickBooks, there are two ways to disable or remove the GST or VAT from your invoice. You can adjust the default settings to show "No VAT" on the Account and Settings page, which will prevent it from appearing when you create transactions. Alternatively, you can turn it off by navigating to Taxes and selecting the specific GST or VAT percentage you want to remove.
Method 1: Account and Settings:
- Go to the Gear icon in the top right corner of your QuickBooks Online dashboard.
- Select Account and Settings from the drop-down menu.
- In the left-hand menu, choose Advanced.
- Scroll down to the Accounting section and click on Edit.
- In the Default tax rate selection section, choose No VAT.
- Click Save and then Done to apply the changes.

Method 2: Taxes:
- Go to the Taxes tab on the left-hand menu.
- Choose VAT depending on your tax setup.
- Under Edit VAT, select Edit rates.
- In the VAT Rates section, please switch off the box next to the specific tax rate to turn it off.
