With QuickBooks Online, we aim to provide you with the features you need to manage your books, and I want to make sure you're able to use the built-in Receipts feature instead of having to go with a third-party option. That way, you can cut down on costs to your business and keep things simple with how they flow in QuickBooks Online. I'll help you get this sorted out.
I've spoken with other customers who have successfully set up email forwarding with the Receipts feature, so it may simply be something with your emails' unique setups that are causing the hiccup here. The activation code could be causing the delay here. I encourage you to speak with the support team for Gmail and GSuite to ensure that you have whatever codes you may need and to get details on how to complete the forwarding setup if necessary.
Next, I recommend getting in touch with QuickBooks Online support outside of Community. The Community is coded to automatically redact email addresses and other such data you share in the body of your question to help protect your personal information.
