Payments

Your efforts in following up on this topic have not gone unnoticed, Marcycpa. As someone who also depends on QBO for accurate and efficient bookkeeping, I recognize your feelings about texting invoices being more efficient than manually copying and pasting links.

Nevertheless, if you have a QuickBooks Payments subscription, you can follow the steps outlined by my colleague above and send invoices directly to your clients through text.

Furthermore, if you haven't signed up for QBO Payments yet and want to begin sending invoices through text message, you can apply directly on their website or sign up through your existing QBO account. I'll show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then navigate to Account and Settings.
  2. Click  Payments, and hit the Activate payments button.
  3. Fill in all the needed information about you and your business in the payments signup window.
  4. Add a bank account (where your funds will go once you get paid).
  5. Once done, select the Review and Finish option.

Moreover, please note that the QuickBooks Payments account is subject to eligibility criteria, credit, and application approval. To learn more about this process and the agreements, check out these guides:
