Payments

We just had the same issue. The Quickbooks Bill Pay help desk support technician stated there is a bill pay limitation that is "system-based" and decides whether or not to allow you to pay vendors using bill pay - no matter what version of bill pay you use. The technician stated the system-based limitation is implemented based on a current $150k monthly limit and your companies credit score, and that the system reevaluates the criteria daily. The technician stated there is currently not a way to change the monthly limit and criteria since it is system-based and programmed to implement this limitation in the Quickbooks Bill Pay software itself. The technician recommended to keep trying every morning since it's system-based and it reevaluates bill pay users daily for what limit should be applied. This is a terrible feature and one that impacts companies that pay more than $150k to vendors monthly. We going to need to find another bill pay platform that does not impose system-based limits like this, and that can adjust based on the need of its customers rather than its general implementation policy. This system-based limitation feature is not advertised publicly and not listed in the Terms and Conditions for customers. It would impact customers signing up since they would simply compare their monthly accounts payable volume with the terms and conditions and simply not sign up if they knew $150k is the general limit with company credit score evaluation and system-based implementation with no recourse and feature to manually increase limits. They do not offer bill pay limitation advertising of the product before purchasing and lead customers to believe the only limitations are with the bank you are paying from, which is clearly not the case. This is a terrible feature and not being an honest broker when it comes to advertising what the product can and can't do.
