For the time being, I recommend sending feedback to our product developers about your request to add the temporary credit card hold feature. This way, our product engineers can consider incorporating it into future updates.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Press Next.

 

As a workaround, you can use a third-party app that has the capability to hold a credit card temporarily in QBO. You can visit our QuickBooks Marketplace to browse for suitable apps.
