Payments

Hello there, @Thompson. I recognize how convenient it is to have the feature of adding credit card fees to the payment window to let your customers include the charges to what they are paying for. Allow me to provide some information about this.

 

Currently, this feature is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop. However, I recommend sending a feature request to our Product Development team to demonstrate the collective urgency and significance of the matter at hand. 

 

Here's how to send one:

 

  1. Click the Help option.
  2. Choose Send Feedback Online.
  3. Select Product Suggestion
  4. Provide a brief description of your product suggestion.
  5. Click the Send Feedback button.

 

In the meantime, you might consider adding the credit card fees as a service item when you create an invoice as a workaround. You can follow the steps provided by my colleague, JaeAnnC, to make a service item.
