Payments
Thanks for updating us, @Ashhhhh. Let me chime in and share information to ensure you’re able to transfer the balance successfully.
You mentioned you've created a transfer, and both banks are in the Chart of accounts. In this case, the reference provided by my peer AlcaeusF should work.
On the other hand, if you’re trying to transfer funds in or out of your QuickBooks Checking account, you’ll need to connect an external bank account to succeed. Once linked, you can refer to the steps below to transfer the amount.
To put money into your QuickBooks Checking account:
- Go to Banking services, then select QuickBooks Checking.
- Select Transfer and choose the option to transfer money between your accounts.
- Enter the amount.
- In the From field, select (+) and then choose your connected bank account.
- Select your QuickBooks Checking account in the To field.
- Enter the amount and click Finalize transfer.
To move the money out of the QuickBooks Checking account:
- Select Transfer money and then Move money between your account.
- Enter the amount.
- Select your QuickBooks Checking account in the From field.
- In the To field, click the (+) and then choose your bank account.
- Tap Finalize transfer.
Please know that after you get approved for signing QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Checking, you'll get your QuickBooks Debit Card within 7 - 10 business days. Check out this guide to learn more: Use your QuickBooks Checking account.
