Payments
We received a call today from someone stating that they are from Quickbooks Support. They stated that the card on file used to process our annual fee was declined. We don’t use a card for our annual fee and the fee was already paid over a month ago. What was disturbing was that they knew the primary emails on file as well as the product license No. They proceeded to send an email to one of my colleague’s email address and it contained a table showing license information. Another disturbing detail was that the email came from [email address removed] . I checked with Intuit to make sure that everything was fine with our account and the rep stated that they saw the payment go through successfully last month and that the account is current. They also stated that they don't call customers about declined payments and that it must be scammers. Please beware.
