JessT,
Are other vendors going to be forced to the contractors screen? As I said, we pay more than 100, and will have even more coming.
This change to the system is not just a "convenience." This system change is convoluted and therefore HUGHLY time-consuming. My time and my client's money are being unnecessarily wasted.
At least an explanation of the intended purpose of the system change would help to clarify its use going forward to work with the change instead of being "stopped" by it.
Are there others who can address my question, identify resolutions?

SuzanneK I agree 100%+; I do the exact same thing, google, google, google etc. to find answers or even someone else that has had the same issue. I now have more than 1 or 2 clients asking if there is another software or payroll program that they can use. Quickbooks, you need to get a handle on things, or more than 1 or 2 of my clients will be leaving or have already left. My goodness, When is enough enough??

My two older contractors don't have email. I entered their personal information for them. Also I have a tag under contract labor with their names but system does not pick up the payments that I have made to them. How do I fix this. I have paid them with paper check.

Thanks for joining in on this conversation, @Michelle0531.
It appears that you've posted a similar concern, to which my colleague, Rasa-LilaM, answered. Please go to this link to view her suggested resolution: Sub contractors.
Furthermore, you may want to export reports from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to Excel. Doing so allows you the flexibility to include information relevant to your business needs.
Keep in touch if you have additional concerns about running reports in QBO. We're always here to lend you a helping hand. Stay safe, and have a great day.
