I see you're in a difficult situation, Jay.
As a QuickBooks user myself, I would also feel the same way if I’m unable to change the outgoing email on my new computer. Rest assured I’m here to share with you the steps on how we can change the email address on your new computer.
Before we proceed, ensure to download the latest QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) release. This way, we can ensure your program is up to date with the current features and fixes and run smoothly on your computer. Once done, you can now proceed to these steps
- Go to the File menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Click on Send Forms.
- Choose Company Preferences.
- In the Email IDs section, click on the Add button.
- From the Edit Email info window, enter the new email address.
- Then click OK once done.
