I appreciate you for letting us know the result of the steps you’ve performed. QuickBooks provides maintenance release and product updates to fix known issues, add features and enhancements. Downloading it can help resolve the issue you’re currently experiencing.
Here’s how:
- Tap the Help menu at the top to choose Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Select the Update Now tab and tick the box for Reset Update to remove previously downloaded releases.
- Hit Get Updates and OK to continue.
- Once done, close your QuickBooks to kick off the installation.
In your company file, go to the Transactions List and look for the payments. Then, open each one and delete it.
