To update the email address for employee self-setup, locate it in the employee’s profile in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Hcicompany.
If the employee has already started the self-setup process and was invited to set up their employee file, updating their email address in QBO will automatically trigger a new invitation.
Here’s how to update the email address:
- Go to Employees.
- Select the employee whose email you want to change.
- Click the Pencil icon to edit their profile.
- Delete or replace the previous email address.
- Click Save.
- Check the new email inbox for the updated invitation.
