Payroll and STP

Thank you for your reply. Now i undertsand how payroll and tme tracking works. I wonder if there is solution to what I need to achieve as mentioned above? The billable time is not applicable to our business as we do not bill customer on these hours. I can give you one example. Project ABC, total cost agreed and invoiced to customer: 5000 dollars Derek, Alex, and John are working on this project, and on 14th July they would fill in their timesheet to get paid. Lets say their hours on the day are 4, 6, and 8 hours respectively. What should we do if we want to achieve these two goals at the same time: 1: employee fill in their time and get paid via payroll run 2, their time shows up on project tracking time cost thanks
