Thanks for reaching out to us. I'd be happy to assist you in recording commission earned in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
You can create a service item for commission and select an income account. If you're not sure what's the exact income account to choose, we recommend consulting an accountant for guidance.
- Go to Sales.
- Click Products and Services.
- Click New.
- Click Service.
- Enter the name (Commission) and other necessary information.
- Click Save and close.
Now, you can apply the service item as a different line in the Sales Receipt once you get the commission.

- Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact
