To get you back on track, download the maintenance release for your QuickBooks. Performing this process will help you get the latest features and fixes. Then run QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac as admin.
To update:
- Open your company file and navigate to the top menu bar.
- Click the QuickBooks drop-down to select Check for QuickBooks Updates.
- If there’s a newer version available, choose Install Update.
- Press the Install and Relaunch button when prompted.
- Once completed, QuickBooks for Mac automatically opens.
