Thanks for your response. Obviously, by not fixing this problem, Intuit is trying to force exactly that. I do not wish to make mining my data easier for Intuit, nor to be dead in the water if I am in a place with marginal internet.
As to switching to another package, I would be all for that. Do you have a suggestion for another desktop package that has good functionality for NPOs?
