QuickBooks Online (QBO) has the option to stop the system from automatically applying for credits. To do this, you can follow the steps below:
- Click the Gear icon.
- Select Account and Settings.
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Click the Pencil icon in the Automation row.
- Uncheck the Automatically apply credits box.
- Click Save, then Done.
