The error codes are not inclusive in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). You may encounter errors that are not listed in the articles. Rest assured the troubleshooting steps provided in the article can help us isolate and fix the issue. I'll be glad to guide you how.

 

Before we begin, you'll want to ensure your QBDT is updated to the latest release. This way, we can ensure the system is running on the newest features and fixes. 

 

When ready, you'll want to download our QuickBooks Tool Hub tool and run the Quick Fix my Program to resolve this. Here's how.

 

  1. Close your QuickBooks.
  2. Download our QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install.
  5. When the install finishes, open the tool hub on your Windows desktop.
  6. Select Program Problems.
  7. Click Quick Fix my Program.
  8. Start QuickBooks Desktop and open your data file.

If this is not the case, I suggest running a clean install. This fixes any company files issues.
