When you open or create a new company file in QuickBooks Desktop, you might see a prompt to log in using your Intuit account ID. 

We keep your data & privacy safe, and you're the only one who can access and control it anytime. It's an added security to maintain the information for each product you purchase in one place at Intuit. 

Create or open a company file using your Intuit account ID. 

In addition, you can click on the I forgot my password on the Intuit Account prompt. Then, click on the I forgot my password. 

Here's how:

1. In the QBDT login window, click I forgot my password.
2. Fill out the information on the form.
3. Select OK.
4. QuickBooks will guide you in creating a new admin password.
