Other questions

I hear you about your suggestion of having a notification, @TAMurph.

Saving your employee information in your QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP) account is my top priority here. This way, you can start handling them in your account as quickly as possible.

There is an available workaround for the Response not successful: Received status code 400 error message. And most people who came across this error solved the issue after following the given resolution.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO Payroll account through Public Login. This means you must not log in as a Guest in your browser.

       2. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Payroll Settings

       3. Select Setup, then click Work Locations.

       4. Click Edit, then hit Save without making any changes.

       5. You should encounter an error message that the City, State, and Zip codes do not match. Go to USPS.com to validate the address.

       7. Once validated, re-update the work location.

       8. If there are other work locations, Edit and Save without changes to make sure none of the others are affected as well. If they are, repeat the steps above to fix them.

If you don't receive the error in Step 5I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care TeamThey can re-investigate the problem and find a permanent solution. You can follow the steps described above on how to call our support. Also, make sure to contact them within business hours to ensure a swift response.
