I agree the advertising pop-ups are annoying. I've tried all their steps and I still get them. They will never fix it because it is too lucrative for them. This problem has been on forum posts for years now. As I said on another post, one day an alternate software will come to pass, and Intuit customers will flock to it in droves to get away from their annoying marketing tactics.
In this matter, the $$$'s out weight the genuine interest or desire of the consumer. Until a better software companies comes along, there is nothing we can do about it.
