Actually, this step (to Restrict Sites) worked on 6-17-21 after trying multiple solutions. Here's how:
- Open QuickBooks and from the Help tab click Internet Connection Setup.
- Click Next and then Advanced Connection Settings
- Now from the Security tab click Restricted Sites option.
- Click Sites and copy and paste the URL that you are getting in the error message
- Now click Add and then hit Close.
- Finally click OK and Done to save the changes.

**Also, no need to make defunct Internet Explorer your default browser. I bypassed that step.
