Thanks for the clarification, @Andreas.
Can you share with me the exact error you’ve received when sending financial reports?
Data issues are one of the reasons why you encountered this. You can utilize the Verify Rebuild Data tool in QuickBooks Desktop to resolve it.
Here’s how:
- First, choose Window and then select Close All.
- Go to the File menu, and then click Utilities.
- Select Rebuild Data.
- Follow the onscreen instruction to back up your data.
- When the tool finishes, select OK.
- Navigate to the File menu, then hover over Utilities.
- Click Verify Data and select Rebuild Now once QuickBooks finds an issue with your company file.
Please know that you'll need to log in to your Desktop account using the single-user mode when performing this process.
When you sign in to your QuickBooks account, you'll want to use the email address associated with your Intuit account. QuickBooks requires you to log back in every 180 days using your Intuit account to notify you that you're the admin. You can link your QBDT company file to your existing Intuit Account. I'll show you how:
- Open your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
- Login using the Admin credentials. This will prompt you to the Intuit account window.
- Select You’re the admin and enter the email address associated with your Intuit account.
- Click Continue, then enter the password.
