Other questions
Hi Ryan_M
Okay, I’m not sure I can even get past the first line of your response to @btks but I’ll give it a try.
You start by saying, “If you use QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) in offline mode…” and that stopped me cold because it infers that Quickbooks Desktop (QBDT) has an online “mode” in addition to an “offline mode.” I suspect many users of QBDT, myself included, selected to buy and use that version specifically because they did not, and do not, want to be operating their accounting online. You have an online, or cloud, version which any of us would presumably be free to choose to use. We did not choose your online software.
So, let me first ask a very specific question that calls for a very explicit answer, if QBDT has both an online and offline mode, where in the software is that mode shown? Second question, also requiring an explicit answer, where in the software is the online or offline mode selected and set?
If you provide answers to both of those questions then many of use might be satisfied if we can just switch from “online mode” to “offline mode.”
I and others, anxiously await your response.
