I’m here to ensure you can open your company file. Let’s download and install the QuickBooks Tool Hub to get you up and running. This utility is used to fix common errors you encounter when using the program.

 

  1. Be sure to close your QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub (1.4.0.0).
  3. Save the file where you can locate it easily.
  4. Then, open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to install it.
  6. Once done, double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool.
  7. In the QuickBooks Tools Hub, tap the Program Problems menu on the left panel.
  8. Then, press the Quick Fix my Program button.

 

After performing these steps, open QuickBooks and the company file. If the issue persists, perform Solutions 2-5 in the following guide: QuickBooks Desktop doesn't start or won't open.
