We would like to further investigate why it's asking for an admin user ID and password. Before that, I'd like to provide a few details to help you in sorting this out. There are two things we need to consider checking. Your multi-user should be properly set up and make sure the Database Server Manager is up-to-date.

  2. Choose your QuickBooks Product.
  3. Select your QuickBooks edition.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Choose Chat with us or Have us call you.
