I don't know if this makes a difference Flyingkiwi, and it probably won't, but this was my sequence of events: With the preferences set to "Always ask for password before connecting" I signed in to my account, then went to preferences and changed it to "Automatically connect without asking for a password", Then restarted Quickbooks, went to company, my company and signed out. Restarted the program and it hasn't asked me to "sign in" again.
