I know how important it is to have control over to your items and services column width in QuickBooks Desktop, However, the option to save its customization is currently unavailable.

I'll take note of this and add it to our list of ideas. While this feature isn’t currently in our development roadmap, we are working on big improvements that will be helpful for the majority of our customers, and you’ll see those rolling out soon through our QuickBooks Blog.
