Hello there, @Elisa. I appreciate your input from every angle, and I can see the urgency of getting this resolved.
To start, let's reset your password since you're having trouble logging in to your account. Here's how:
- Open QuickBooks Desktop.
- At the login window, click I forgot my password.
- Click OK.
If you've encountered an error when resetting your password, this time, let's try using the Automated Password Reset tool.
- Download the Automated password tool for QuickBooks Desktop.
- Choose your QuickBooks version on the Version drop-down arrow.
- A product information window should pop up. Enter your QuickBooks business information, then click Next when you are finished.
- Accept the license agreement and hit Download. If it asks you to Run or Save the file, choose Save and save it to your Desktop. And the email that contains the access token will be sent to only the same address you originally entered.
- From the QuickBooks Desktop Products drop-down, select the same version.
- Choose Browse for Company File, then locate the file, and enter the correct Company File Admin User Name.
- Enter your New Password and then Confirm New Password.
- Tap Reset Password to complete the process.
