I've got your back, @AWAS.
This looks like an attempted scam. QuickBooks support will only call you if you have a requested callback and our phone support team doesn't have a direct phone number. You can only connect with them by going to the Help icon and choosing the Contact us button. Also, if there is a problem with your QuickBooks account, you'll receive a notification via email or a message when you signed in to your account.
To further investigate this, it would be best to reach out to our QuickBooks Desktop support team. The representative uses specific tools to pull up your account in a secure environment. Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Click Contact us.
- Enter a brief description of your concern and tap Search.
- Hit Start message.
For your reference, please see this article: Recognize and report suspicious emails (Phishing).
I also encourage you to visit our QBDT Help page. From there, you can browse articles or get some ideas from other QuickBooks users and experts. This way, you'll get more insights that can help you with your QuickBooks tasks.
Post again here in the Community if you notice more suspicious voice messages or emails in the future. I'm here to give you some tips to ensure the safety of your account. Have a great day ahead!
