Hello @RoseR! Thanks for coming to the Community for clarification. I can definitely explain your options for progress invoicing and estimates. 

 

Here's a great article that goes over the whole set up: Set up and send progress invoices in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

When you are creating your invoice from an estimate, you have three options. 

 

 

The third one is the option you'll select: "Create invoice for selected items". That will give you the opportunity to choose what to include in that invoice.
