Good to know that windows ten is updated, @Grandpa Rome 3.
I'm here to help you get rid of the error in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Let's start running the repair tools and update your QBDT to append the error.
Before doing that, make sure to create a back-up, for safety reasons, in case we run into obstacles. Then restart the computer and follow the steps below.
- Open the Windows Start menu, then pick the Control Panel.
- Hit Programs and Features, then Uninstall a Program.
- Click QuickBooks from the list of programs, then click Uninstall/Change.
- Tap Continue, or Next.
- Click Repair and Next.
- Tap Finish.
After that, you can now update your account. For the detailed steps, refer to this article: Repair your QuickBooks Desktop for Windows.
If the issue persists, proceed in these following troubleshooting steps:
- Rename the .ND and .TLG files
- Open a sample company file.
- Copy the QuickBooks file on the Desktop
- Restore a backup.
- Use ADR to restore your backup.
