I appreciate you for taking the time to join this thread, @J and J.

Have you tried the recommendations provided by my colleagues above?

If yes, and yet you’re still unable to fix the missing transaction in the Reconciliation page, we can utilize the Verify and Rebuild Data tool to sort this out. By doing so, we'll be able to ensure your company file is error-free and the transactions are intact.

Here’s how:

  1. First, choose Window and then select Close All.
  2. Go to the File menu, and then click on the option of Utilities.
  3. Select the option of Rebuild Data.
  4. Follow the onscreen instruction to back up your data.
  5. When the tool finishes, select OK.
  6. Navigate to the File menu, then hover over Utilities.
  7. Click Verify Data and select Rebuild Now once QuickBooks finds an issue with your company file.

Please know that you'll need to log in to your Desktop account using the single-user mode when performing this process. It only takes minutes to complete. However, it will still depend on your company's file size.

Otherwise, you’ll want to contact our Technical Support team. They have the right tools to check your account and can provide additional fixes to settle this immediately.

You can also use this guide anytime if you need help doing or fixing reconciliation. The reconcile workflow in QuickBooks makes sure everything is matched and balanced.

If you need further assistance with any of the steps or have other QuickBooks concerns, just let me know by posting a comment below. I'll always be around.
