I appreciate you for following the steps shared by my colleague, raes88.
The subtotal will not show in the bottom part if there's no tax on the transaction or the Sales Tax isn't turned on. You'll have to turn on the Sales Tax, so we can hide the added subtotal on the line item. For more details on how to set this up, see this article: Set up sales tax in QuickBooks Desktop.
However, if you're using QuickBooks Online, you'll have to uncheck the Subtotal groups on the Customs Form Style. Let me guide you how:
- Click the Gear icon at the top, then choose Custom Form Styles.
- Locate the template name, then click Edit under Action column.
- Select the Content tab at the top.
- Click the activity table (middle section).
- Click Show more activity options.
- Uncheck Subtotal groups.
- Click Done.
You can read this article for more information: Customize your invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
You can also import your custom form styles. This feature helps reflect your brand identity into your sales forms with less effort and time: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates.
