Hello there, @timolson10.
When the current master admin is no longer with the company and isn't cooperative in changing the role, you can request for it to be transferred. This process requires us to pull up your account in a secure environment. With this, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. Before that, you need to gather documents for your request to verify that you have rightful ownership or access privileges for the account.
We've updated our support options in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can request a callback to talk to one of our representatives to relay this matter. You'll first have to check out our support hours to ensure we can assist you on time. Here's how:
- Go to the Help menu.
- Choose Contact Us.
- Enter your specific concern in the What can we help you with? field.
- Click Let's talk.
- Select Get a callback.
- Enter your contact details.
- Click Confirm my call.
I've attached a screenshot below for your reference.
In the meantime, I'm adding this article to learn more about the different options for user roles and access permissions in QBO:
User roles and access rights. It includes topics about roles that count toward user limits and standard access rights to name a few.
You can update me on how it goes by leaving a comment below. If you have other account management concerns in QBO, I'm just around to help. Take care always.
