You're still not listening. Many people choose to control physical access to an offline machine as their means of security. Dozens of different people in this thread have clearly described their objection to the intrusive nonsense that is the subject of this thread. I, like so many others, am angry with Intuit over this, and I am praying for a class action lawsuit to join. I paid you (repeatedly) for an offline product that you keep forcibly crippling. I'm disgusted and becoming vengeful. Intuit vastly underestimates the level of ill-will this is creating.
