I was doing fine for a while waiting to use the F4 solution but after refusing updates for a few days QB said I only had 3 more refusals and then QB forced an update and now I'm getting the requirement to log in on the rest of my QB accounts that had been free of this bother. It seems all QB has done is used this thread to close down solutions rather than accommodate Desktop users' plea to not force needless log in. I could not even find my password so wasted time on this when it is needless. I will attempt this firewall solution but I'm about done with Intuit. They are losing me as a QB client, and I'll be looking for a different tax program after two decades with them.
