Let's make sure that you'll be able to enter your clients' credit card expiration date, bookings4.
You'll want to open your client's profile and add their credit card information from there. Before you start, connect your payment account to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. This way, your client can pay their invoice online. Here's how:
In your QBO account:
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Select Account and Settings.
- Click the Payments tab.
- Choose either QuickBooks Payments or Existing account.
- In the Existing account section, select Connect or Link Merchant Service.
- In the window, select the QuickBooks Payment account you want to connect. Then select Connect.
- Review the account info and make sure it's accurate. If everything looks good, select Connect.
- When the connection is finished, sign out and sign back into QuickBooks Online for the changes to take effect.

After that, you can now add your clients' credit card expiration date to their profile. You can refer to these steps below.
- Go to the Sales menu.
- Click the Customers tab.
- Locate and select your customer.
- Click Edit.
- In your Customer profile select the Payments and billing tab.
- Select Credit Card from the Preferred payment method drop-down menu.
- Enter the needed information and click save when done.
