This is not the impression we want you to have, @Payroll 123.
To help your employees view their paychecks, let's perform the following troubleshooting steps below:
- To start, you have to re-invite the employees. Before that, ensure your QuickBooks Desktop is updated to the latest release and have the latest payroll tax table.
- Once done, log in as an administrator.
- Then, go to the Employees menu.
- Select Manage Payroll Cloud Services.
- Under QuickBooks Workforce, toggle the status to ON.
- Choose Invite Employees.
- Pick the employees you need to give access to, then add their email addresses.
- Hit Send Invite.
Once done, proceed to the What's next section of this link: Set up QuickBooks Workforce for your QuickBooks Desktop. This includes steps on how your employees can access their W-2 by signing in with their Workforce account.
If the issue persists, I recommend contacting again our technical support team. This way, they can further investigate what is the root cause of the issue and provide steps you need to do.
Let me walk you through the process:
- Click the Help menu at the top, and then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
- Hit Contact Us.
- Enter a brief description of your issue, for example, Employees have no access and cannot get W2s.
- Tap Let's talk.
- Choose Start a chat or Get a callback.
You can also head to View my Paycheck support at this link and click the Live chat hyperlink to contact them.
