Thanks for coming back for more support, @Jane29. The steps shared by my peer @RCV would help you hide your old company file. 

 

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team again. They can help you accomplish this as they did before. Here's how: 

 

  1. Click this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact
  2. Select QuickBooks Mac Desktop.
  3. Click Search for something else, then enter your concern in the Ask us anything field and click Search.  
  4. Select the Start a Message button. 
  5. Enter all necessary information in the pop-up box, then click I'm not a robot and hit Submit

 

For future reference, you also want to visit the Little Square to explore some of the QuickBooks for Mac keyboard shortcuts.
