Allow me to chime in, and provide additional info, @Billy DB.

 

The intention of requiring the Admin/Primary login when you open or create a new company file is for you to have greater control over user access and make it easier to have all your Intuit products connected. If you choose not to log in, you'll see a window reminding you of 28 days (QuickBooks Pro/Premier/Plus) or 42 days (QuickBooks Enterprise) limit. After that, you'll no longer be able to skip signing in.
