I totally agree. Why should I (we) trust Intuit with access to my (our) company files? So, what remedies is Intuit ready to provide when (not if)  all of us in the current customer/user community get hacked and some nefarious actor, state or otherwise, gets access to all of our respective company files?

Security is more effective with a layered approach. Intuit is suggesting that its user community put all of its eggs in one basket.

Seriously, this sounds more like a sales and marketing initiative rather than an informed security recommendation from the cybersecurity professionals. Given the responses from Intuit thus far, I am still struggling with "What Problem are you trying to Fix?". Providing "procedures" for how to establish an Intuit account is not an explanation of the specific security threat(s) that you're ostensibly trying to mitigate.
