Phishing, spam, spoof, or hoax emails are a huge problem today. The best protection against these security risks is awareness and prevention.
Please don't open the message until you're able to confirm its legitimacy. Intuit's security team posts information about SPAM and Phishing email attempts at the Intuit Online Security Center.
You can forward any suspicious emails immediately to stay aware. Simply follow the steps below:
- Go to the Online Security Center page.
- Scroll down to the Security Alerts box which shows current and reported security alerts associated with scam emails.
- Find the associated Security Alert, then select it to see instructions listing any actions you'll need to take.
