I've had no success at sending invoices by e-mail by following your suggestions which I've summarized:
- Webmail settings were initially set as suggested by MaryLureenM
- Solution 1 Turn on Two Step Verification was attempted. Account was removed in Quickbooks and manually entered as suggested. Same error message appeared.
- Solution 2 - Less Secure App Access was turned on. Same error message appeared.
- Solution 3 - Turned off Two Step Verification and cleared the enhanced security option. Password was considered invalid.
- The attached article suggested updating to the most current version which I did (was on rel 13_43). Reattempted above solutions with identical results.
Other than Defender I have no added antivirus software running on the system.
