I made the mistake of allowing an update to my QB Pro 2018 (Desktop) tonight... which I only use to keep records for my small business... and I have used Quickbooks for many years. Now I CANNOT get past this box that requires me to sign up for an Intuit account. There is no option to close the box. I have no control over my own Quickbooks program.
I am in complete agreement with every aggravated commenter here. This is ridiculous. We do NOT need the Intuit online services. We do NOT WANT them.
I was a happy Quickbooks customer until today. I am only frustrated now.
Intuit: get a clue. Stop telling us how much you are helping us. The obvious way you can help your customers, is by giving us back control of our own Quickbooks.
