This is a useless, pointless reply:

If you want to remove the reminder every 7days, I suggest login to your Intuit account.

The arrogance and dismissive tone is staggering.

You miss the *entire thread* is about *not logging in*.  Logging in simple allows a backdoor for Intuit and Quickbooks to access, use and store customer data that has not been shared with them in the past.   Many Quickbooks Desktop users specifically choose the program because the data file resides solely on their devices or devices they control.    This isn't just about personal privacy - many users provide accounting services for other companies and maintaining privacy is a matter of professional responsibility.

Quickbooks needs to fully everything that happens when a user "logs in to their Intuit account" from their desktop program - including all data that is accessed by Intuit, how it is stored, used and retrieved, when it is accessed and who has access to that data.  Further, Quickbooks needs to eliminate logging into an Intuit account to use the desktop program altogether.

The lack of transparency around this topic will almost certainly lead to legal problems for Quickbooks and Intuit.
