Let's perform some steps to fix the issue when installing the new desktop version. Please follow the steps below on how to do it.
Step 1: Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This hub contains the different tools used to fix common issues within the software.
To do this, here's how:
- Close QuickBooks Desktop.
- Download the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
- Save the file to your Desktop, then double-click the file to open it. The file will be named QuickBooksToolHub.exe.
- Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
- When it's finished installing, click the Windows Start Menu and do a search for QuickBooks Tool Hub and open it.
Step 2: Use the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool.
Step 3: Update Windows.
Step 4: Manually fix Windows components.
Step 5: Use Selective Startup to install QuickBooks Desktop.
